About KRISTEN

I help children and families.

I practice family and domestic relations law with the highest level of client service, from simple wills and uncontested divorces to complex high-asset and high-conflict cases. I balance my practice by representing children in divorce and custody cases. I am certified as an Attorney Ad Litem and have special training in dependency-neglect and Arkansas DHS cases.

I bring big city energy.

I graduated law school in 2015 from the City University of the New York School of Law and began my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. In this fast-paced and high-stress environment, I honed my trial court skills while helping crime victims achieve justice in the courtroom.

After moving to Arkansas, I continued my representation of crime victims while working at Legal Aid of Arkansas where I worked with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, and brought those skills into private practice at Bogart Small & Associates in Fayetteville before joining Leslie Copeland Law.

I love hiking and biking in NWA.

I love living and practicing law in Northwest Arkansas. When I’m not in the courtroom, I’m usually out hiking in the Ozarks, biking around Fayetteville, and exploring all that Northwest Arkansas has to offer.

I’m proud to be a part of the most exciting legal team in Northwest Arkansas, where we keep you, the client, at the center of everything we do!
